Our Story

MADE BY AVIN is an avant-garde fashion project founded by multidisciplinary artist and designer Avin Azad in Toronto. Rooted in architecture, performance, and personal transformation, the brand explores the space where fashion becomes art, emotion, and storytelling.

Avin’s creations are known for their dramatic silhouettes, sculptural forms, and luminous materials — often featuring bold headpieces, sharp structures, and reflective fabrics that capture light and movement. Each piece is designed not simply as clothing, but as a living sculpture that carries energy, identity, and feeling.

Growing up with a deep sensitivity to color, texture, and emotion, Avin developed a design language that translates inner states into visual form. Gold, rainbow reflections, bold shapes, and symbolic elements frequently appear in the work, expressing themes of freedom, transformation, and resilience.

As a queer artist and immigrant, Avin’s journey from darkness toward light is woven into every creation. The work speaks to those who believe in transformation — like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon — becoming something fearless, radiant, and unapologetically unique.
